Remember that WTI dip to sub zero? This was caused by may futures expiring and future traders not being able to accept physical delivery.

Take a look at the pic. Brent works by different intervals. June contracts are expiring in 4 days.

There is a significant difference between brent and wti: wti is land locked. However, tanker capacity has been maxed out due to the previous wti collapse. The dip is unavoidable.
