make sure you're drinking lots of water too in these warmer months.
i'm always shocked by how much mental tension or feelings of dis-ease are alleviated through proper hydration.
unironically go get a glass of water, but don't chug it. you aren't trying to punish yourself for not drinking water. just take 5 drinks and set it down. wait like 5 minutes and take another 5 drinks.
do this all day.

because the color of the number pertains to the color of other numbers, which are directly tied to your net worth and potential, which IS your value by many metrics, which is a source of happiness if it is high and unhappiness if it is low

another thing i'll do is i look at the worst case scenario if i don't feel good about a stock selling a put.
LK for me the worst case would be some catastrophic announcement comes during earnings and they collapse down to say $0.6/share.
that's no problem so long as the premium you received was enough to cover the loss you would incur buying $250 worth of LK and then selling it for $60 (or bagholding).
so to feel better about it I would look for a premium of $190 maybe by selling an option with a longer expiration (and thus higher premium)

learn options trading so you can learn to run the wheel.
collecting premium is how the real big dicks do it.

basically you can buy 100 shares at your target price, OR you can get PAID to buy 100 shares at your target price.
you can sell 100 shares at your target price, OR you can get PAID to sell 100 shares at your target price.

unlike computers and office supplies (a pretty saturated market even in their hay day) used cars will always be a brick and mortar business because at the very least carshoppers will want to walk around and drive the car, and because the car will have to be stored somewhere.
while oil and TSLA do their things, the demand for private transportation at a savings will be a near constant, particularly in a time of pandemic and penny pinching

countries reopening and resuming albeit with reduced occupancy and output; this coupled with forward looking will make people fomo into cheapies as we'll be fully recovered by 2021 (theoretically); coronavirus confirmed nothing burger through june as death rates remain sequestered to the usual suspects and people get back to work and refuse further shutdown shenanigans

literally painless.
you wipe out the most primordial and basic parts of consciousness in the reptilian brain/brainstem, the thing that feels pain and fear, as well as the thing that regulates organ function.
you die instantly and are incapable of feeling anything. because that's the part of the brain the bullet destroys

maybe try thinking of it as a collection and not an investment.
you collect stocks.
like stamps.
no need to pour over your collection every day.
it's just in the closet in a neat box and you put more stocks into it once a week.
i dunno, just thought maybe switching the perspective from investment to collection could help to take it off the pedestal

amazon should absolutely buy AMC.
>make all that sweet soda money
>make all the distribution contract money
>do a whole foods thing where there are movies and shows scheduled and you just walk in.
>make flagship productions that will net profits with the big boys at the box office
honestly it would be pretty fucking clutch. don't know how it would shake out with all the debt tho

friendly reminder that tanker stocks will continue to go up because oil is a store of value and mother fuckers want to buy that shit like gold to resell later.
we're way past the point of utility with this oil crisis and there's no doubt some big money that wants to do exactly what all the talking heads only joke about: "filling their swimming pool," aka buying a mother fucking tanker full of oil and just sitting on it to sell in several months once enough dick waving is done to get production into line.
soon tankers will be like so many bars of gold floating around the ocean.
oil is a store of value and mother fuckers are absolutely buying the dip but need physical storage space in order to hold their "position"

the simple truth is that we're nowhere near the bottom. If you're going to be a boomer and just wait to buy the dip then you should wait another month.
If you're going to be a boomer with your investment strategy, holding cash to buy cheapies, you might as well have the patience of a boomer

1) calm down. realize that any increased heart rate or feelings of nausea that kind of come and go with varying intensity is probably just adrenaline from a lowkey conscious or unconscious anxiety about being sick. adrenline, and its effects (sweaty palms, needing to poop, nausea, rapid heart rate, light-headedness, ringing in ears), takes about 15 min to metabolize. look at the nearest clock, wait 15 minutes, and chances are you'll be feeling better at least mentally and emotionally.
2) get a shitload of vitamin C either through pills or powder supplements and zinc lozenges. was a bedside medical worker for 5 years and that shit would absolutely destroy anything that came into my system
3) if you're not in the US chances are medical bills aren't a concern. really no harm getting checked out and if you have it opt to self-quarantine
4) the choice is yours: stay home and take antibiotics and comfy, go out and try to affect the markets by targeting certain corporate eating areas
