I've never worked directly at Amazon, but down the street from one...and multiple former employees report that it's easy as fuck. The only "demanding" job is order picking/selector. You just walk aisles grabbing items and then toss it on a conveyor, way easier than order picking at any of the 6 warehouses I worked at. Of course, for a fatass welfare queen hired for seasonal...walking 8-10 hours a shift is hell, but it's just walking around grabbing dildos off a shelf. Not rocket science, nor hand unloading 50-200lb Chinese furniture that's floor stacked in a failing wooden floor container in the non ac 110 degree humid warehouse down the street.

The reality is those comfy boomer jobs can't exist anymore. The US can't compete on wages with the third world, so the only thing left is service and moving their cheaply made goods.
