Ampleforth is Bitcoin in 2014. It was *JUST* popular enough to be on tech nerds radar, but still predominantly fringe and unknown. 95% of "normies* who stumbled upon it simply brushed it off as a combination of :scam, doomed to fail, and either way, too late for themselves to make a profit from.

I'd like to point out that the only reason bitcoin succeeded was because it leveraged human greed. This was by design. It's not inherently negative, it's just a fact of life that people prioritize self-preservation, and these days (thanks jews), self-preservation equates to amassing financial resources. Ampleforth is designed in a very similar way. There are only two differences between AMPL and BTC.

1. It's built on Ethereum
If this was 2016, that would make me personally skip this investment entirely. Back then, the idea of an "ethereum killer" was legitimately possible. By the end of 2018, it was known without a shadow of a doubt that Eth will be the only decentralized platform any institution of substance would use. It's just like Bitcoin, too big to fail, and too much of a first-mover advantage to be replaced. inb4 myspace and Betamax analogies - you can't reinvent decentralization, just like you can't reinvent the wheel. Well, you could but nobody would care. I digress.

2. It has a fluctuating supply.
People are really struggling to understand how AMPL works, and why a stablecoin is higher than $1 and I'll be the first to admit I don't fully understand it either. However, at the fundamental level, it's quite basic. Supply + Demand = Marketcap. Think of a ponzi/pyramid scheme (not the best promotional comparison but bear with me). The people who profit are the people who got in early. The difference here is that every AMPL investor (regardless of the price they purchase AMPL at) succeeds him/her/xir (jk) self automatically with every rebase. This means that their ownership of the market cap will always remain the same (as long as they never sell or buy more).
