I’m new too, but I’ve managed to triple my money, so far. This is what I have figured out in the last few months:
Just start with BTC only.
Get a TradingView account.
Learn how to read TA. The MACD Histogram is a good start.
If you want a more hands off approach to trading, DCA is where it’s at.
Stay on the 4hr/daily/weekly candles. If you zoom too far in, it will make you anxious.
Look to BTC stock to flow model for a rough, long term outlook -> https://digitalik.net/btc/
Take your emotions out of the equation. Do your research, make your decision, and stick with it.
Set stop-losses. Coinbase Pro allows this. Not sure about any other exchanges.
