Kek. I only ever keep about $200 in my account to cover Spotify and gym membership fees. When I make a large deposit it's only so I can make a PM purchase via ACH. I have another $3000 in a regular bank account that is just for emergencies like car repairs. Other than that, I'm my own bank.

So did Mexico and Austria, it’s asinine. My understanding is that it was something about the US banning private gold ownership outside of collectible numismatics from 1933-1972. The idea was that “backdated” coins might be an export loophole maybe? I think Ron Paul mentioned it
