10 years into social media was 2009 (or 2007 depending on which site you count as the first social networking site) - when facebook/twitter/others really started picking up steam. we are 10 years into crypto and are at the make it or break stage.

You need to figure out a way to stay motivated. Maybe that means no drugs.

I smoked weed daily (still do), partied, and experimented with all sorts of drugs including crack. That didn't stop me from getting a degree in Chemistry and then Pharmacy. I was never the best student, but I was always focused on that final goal.

Put the weed bowl down since you obviously can't handle it. Go back to studying science. Fuck Accounting. It's incredibly boring and not as rewarding as being a doctor/pharmacist/nurse/etc.

My parents immigrated to the USA poor as fuck and worked hard to eventually get to the point of making us almost upper middle class. They're still terrible with money and didn't pass any useful knowledge to me. My mother even brags about not budgeting or making a grocery list. They're almost 60 and have less than $20k saved in their retirement funds.
I'm the same age as you and make about the same in healthcare. If I had followed my parents advice, I would've married as soon as I graduated, paid just the minimum on my student loans for 10+ years, and financed a shitty used vehicle. Instead, I learned to invest in stocks and crypto to help pay off $180k student loans in 24 months and I paid cash for a pretty decent used car. And because of smart budgeting, I still have plenty of money to play with for vacations, music shows/fests, etc. with friends.
I've had an autistic interest in personal finance since I was 18. So no harsh lessons for me yet.
