So, to me it got very obvious that CZ is planning something very big.
With binance becoming one of the biggest and relevant coin exchanges, CZ settled his position as one of the most powerful and influencal persons in the Crypto market.
It only makes sense that he will expand his power and not be satisfied with a very succesful exchange.
The fact he hosts IEOs of projects (starting with TRX as the first project back in 2017) he has the ideal position to push promising projects while granting himself a good share of their coin supply, and with this also influence.

Today one his most promising IEOs Harmony (ONE) announced they are teaming up with binance's previous IEO MATIC.
Harmony is seen as one of the hottest competitors for Ethereum's spot as the leading platform project.
Matic has been closely knit with ETH, and is now turning its focus to ONE.
This to me is all part of CZ's obvious plan to establish a network of an extremely powerful platform environment that is meant to overtake Ethereum's powerful position. Mind, Ethereum is technically in a very weak position at the moment, all scaling problems are obsolet with Harmony as they are lightyears ahead in tech,
ETH's strengths have been the technical from the very beginning, which overshadowed their biggest weakness, the lack of stable leadership of their controversial Vitalik.
Now that its biggest strength is diminishing, it is doomed to be flipped
