It appears as though AMPL is making a resurgence, and after reading through one of the best posts this board has had in a while, I think it is worth looking into AMPL and discussing it again. I honestly believe AMPL's use case, and how uniquely it goes about it, makes it a definitely revolutionary financial instrument that should be adopted on a global level. Yes, volatility will decrease (which is based on relative perception as to what "volatility" is/isn't), but fixed supply currencies will never truly be stable because the market/demand is always changing as population increases along with production and other factors, therefore the purchasing power of 1 BTC for example will vary from say 2040 to 2140. A currency with an elastic supply that is always tied to the purchasing power of 1 USD IN 2019 is what will allow for true consistency over time. This is AMPL.
