Boomer tier investor here. I am all in on broad market index funds with a 40% savings rate. I'm worried though that I am too risky and should diversify a bit. Any recommendations?

I never understood this recommendation. It's an investment book, not a personal finance book. It also doesn't work anymore because central banks have inflated any value stocks out of existence.

Hi /biz/! I'm what you kids call a "boomer." What that means is that I have common sense when it comes to money! Ha! I came here to teach you guys about finance and investing, and to answer your questions.

Enough of this silly gambling on "bit coins." Let's talk about the beauty of compound interest. Did you know that if your company has a 401(k) program that they can give you matching contributions?

I know some people think it's boring or "not cool" to be saving for retirement, but building your nest egg is lit!

What do you guys want to know about making money?

~700 usd/mo here. after all expenses i'm pocketing around 70k/year, but i only started working a year ago. also my country's currency is weak and the govt is shorting it, so i would only benefit since i get payed in USD. one of my hobbies is being frugal is fuck - clothes-wise i look like a bum, can wear dirty clothes and not shave just to fuck with normies. damn it feels good to be a future millionaire. also thinking about moving back to my home to save 300$/mo on rent but not sure yet.

>An important consideration most people don't recognize is the difference between looking wealthy and being wealthy.
pic related, this is true

I have a cousin who is a self-made millionaire and he wears a tee with shitty jeans and a baseball cap every day to his office.

I would suggest you read The Millionaire Next Door, it is a bit more dry and more complex but The Millionaire Next Door solutions are more viable.
