In its first 20 years post ww2, levittown was a white only model community. Nearly every house hosted a white family with 3-12 kids. Civil rights act and abandoment of the gold standard ruined places like levittown, where lowlifes were able to move in/stick around and the economic base such as the steel plant shut down. My dad walked out of highschool in 1968, right into the steel plant and got a job paying $7/hour. Again, in 1968, as an 18 year old. How much opportunity is there for an 18yo white boy to walk out of highschool and make the equivalent, about $50/hr today? And thats going by government CPI, which is purposely underestimated.

You all have my sympathy by the way, this nation has been fucked. There used to be safe working poor neighborhoods, then came the fair housing act and a whole bunch of other federal and state intervention and that all went away. Their used to be more options for affordable renting, they have been outlawed for the most part or made impossible to build more through regulation, like boarding houses and mobile homes.

Capitalism is the only functional system where workers *can* own the means of production if they *want* to (by either building or buying). The only other means to aquire production outside of capitalism is through state sponsored violent expropriation. Workers will never violently expropriate business themselves, because that is a fight they lose everytime without state intervention. There is nothing inconsistent about having white self interest even though jews and east asians have higher average IQ's. IQ is not everything, if it were jews could entirely reside peacefully in their own country and the chinese would never have lost to the west for 500 years running.
