Poor people always get fucked by the rich, but they mostly avoid the technology oppression because they simply dont have access to it, they effectively live 10 years or more in the past depending on how fast technology gets to them.
Meanwhile rich people can delegate the most annoying parts of technology to midwits and use their riches to disconnect from the technology trap if they want to.
Midwits are stuck in the middle having to engage with technology to make a living, but unable to disconnect from it because they depend on it so hard and they cant accumulate enough resources to escape the trap.

No, but I know what you mean. If I make it ill buy/build a good sized house right infront of the sea in Mallorca grow my own weed and do road trips around the island eating good food.
