PM is a hedge against an end of the world scenario or a physical store of value for crazy rich people.

Average Joe investor there’s probably significantly better options, but it’s not a bad idea to have some physical currency on hand in the event shit gets bad, even temporarily. Silver and Gold have never been worth zero, neither have bullets or food.

Plus it’s nice to have something tangible to see your wealth in a real space.

You understand pandemics only make smartcontract services more valuable in that people don’t need to be in offices or even really working at all to maintain a huge portion of what we consider essential services in say, finance, for example.

As fucked up as it is to say, shit like corona will increase LINK’s value long term. It also might actually enable things like UBI to be a reality since it is going to outmoded huge swaths of modern “office culture” jobs.

Think every character on The Office. They’re all jobless almost instantly except for the warehouse guys.

You don’t need salespeople, accountants or office managers etc when everything is handled in a transparent verifiable AI produced and executed document.

Actual physical labor jobs will become incredibly important, until they perfect the individual autonomous robot worker anyhow.

The knowledge that it isn’t required to actually work to earn money. Currency, energy, power can be manufactured from sheer will.

Hard work almost always doesn’t pay off. The 99% are genetic and ideological serfs.

There is no way to save them, and even if you could they would fight you at every chance to return to the field, the plow, and toil.

LINK is a tool, that’s all. How it’s used is no different than the axe or the hammer or the sickle.

Fear of your capability, and failure to use the gifts God gave you is too a sin. How can mankind ever hope to be more than it is if we cannot trust ourselves to use these powers and maintain our faith?

There is no reason LINK can’t usher in a new renaissance of human development and productivity. Just because its supposed to be the mark doesn’t mean it has to be.
