Well whatever the reason, you were warned about the fact that price rising during falling volume is bearish: https://archived.moe/biz/thread/57606669

Yeah, that's what happens when BTC pumps on falling volume - in other words a bearish pump, that comes crashing down violently in the end.

The pumpage occurred on decreasing volume, which is bearish. It means what follows after the pumpage is a dump that undoes all the pumpage.

With regards to BTC they knew it was what /biz/ calls a "bearish pump". The pumpage occurred on decreasing volume, which is bearish. It means what follows after the pumpage is a dump that undoes all the pumpage.

It's been pumping on falling volume. Very bearish. Means a major dump is coming which will undo all the pumpage. Also noteworthy is alts generally haven't pumped much. Another bearish sign.

Just so you know, they are right. While "bearish pump" sounds funny to newfag ears, it's an accurate way to describe market situations like these. The Volume has been falling during the pumpage from ~39k. Meaning dumpage is coming (after the pumpage) that brings the price down below pre-pumpage level. For those who don't know, that's what "Decreasing Volume, Rising Price" or in other words the term "bearish pump" means. Now you know. So let's say the pumpage stops at 55k for example: Because the pumpage occurred during falling Volume, that means from 55k a dump to sub 39k occurs (how much lower we can't know just by looking at this). Whatever the starting price of a "bearish pump" is, it goes lower after completion.

If the Volume had been rising during this pumpage, that would be bullish. That would indicate continued/sustained pumpage would follow which would take the price MUCH higher than wherever it will stop at in this situation which we're in now.

Naturally by simply looking at picrel it's impossible to know where the pumpage will stop. The Volume can keep falling and the price can keep rising for a while longer, but regardless of where the price stops what follows is dumpage greater than the pumpage that occurred during the falling Volume. That's the key thing to remember about this.

>but hold on OP, this makes me really angry!
>what about [insert institution name]? aren't they going to protect us?
>but miners wouldn't allow it due to mining cost!
>but my bags must get pumped!
>what about the halving?
>what about the ETF?
>b-but this time...
>what about...
Unfortunately, your feelings and your personal financial situation doesn't matter. Getting angry at this reality or coping using "institutions" or "ETF" or "halving" or other stuff, or engaging in any mental gymnastics won't change anything. You must always remember the market doesn't care about you.
