The only way that the blockchain maintains such high reliability and efficiency is because is because it has to be fed 100% correct information for the oracle (chain link).

In the interview below Sergey Nazarov clearly expresses concern that he needs a way to make a perfect oracle so that the blockchain never gets fed false information because then that fucks up everything. The main problem is that there is no such thing as a perfect oracle. Human beings are fallible and them interacting with the oracle to to put in information and form a contract is bound to fuck up sometimes. especially once the normies start using it.

In short, you cannot take humans out of the loop completely no matter what you do. Rather they do it unintentionally or are trying to defraud the blockchain by feeding the oracle false information, there is and never will be such a thing as a perfect oracle to stop humans fucking data entry.

Thus link can never be perfectly reliable and efficient. It can be better than what we have now, but it is not going to eliminate fraud or human error. Those things have existed since fin markets inception and they will continue to exist.

The dream is unironically dead.

The Link team have embarrassed themselves in various ways, including but not limited to not having a network, and selling people hardware and not delivering it.

Unfortunately this was probably their best move.

If they would have shipped the (now obsolete) centralised oracles they sold people, it would be painfully obvious that they are just perpetuating a scam.

Now they have no choice. It has been too long. They have to make a move because people are running out of patience.

This shines a light on the most glaring issues: there is no working software, no dencentralisation, and link is about to be declared paperweight in videos and reviews on youtube and all over the internet.

So not delivering looks bad, but it gave them the opportunity to squeeze out this last big PnD before they are caught red handed selling useless vaporware with no real software platform to speak of.

At this point there is zero hope for this zombie project and the slow exit scam is underway.

I guess that's what happens when you steal your product strategy from a parody show about Silicon Valley.

To sum it up, if the oracle is used it's going to zero. If the oracles aren't used it's going to zero.

This latest effort is just a poorly paid shill group hired by the team and the few remaining bagholders that know they are stuck with this garbage.
