- Banks are not allowed to hold large amounts of toxic assets, high risk subprime loans, junk bonds, etc. Regulators check that and do stress tests. XRP and crypto in general is riskier than the most toxic dogshit assets

- the whole XRP as a settlement currency doesn't work. There isn't enough volume in the whole crypto forget XRP for that to work. XRP has little volume and zero volume/liquidity in the markets where this is most needed anyway
