To the second point I'd argue Chainlink has the most potential to grab more serious real world partnerships in a bear market; LexisNexis just happens to be a great recent example. Companies that are partnering with Chainlink aren't speculating on crypto or betting on metaverse. They're working to monetize their assets, open up new revenue streams and plausibly, a recession just furthers their need to do so.

Everyone has this "price target" mentality, still thinking in fiat. I just think it's backwards personally.
Like, if LINK hit $60 and you were able to actually get your 10% out, do you have something you can do with that "5 years of good wage" suddenly in your control?
If I had something I wanted to do with the money, I'd cash out whatever it was that I needed to do it tomorrow.
But "cashing out" from an asset you expect to appreciate, into depreciating fiat seems short sighted to me.
That's all I meant by it. If you know how to spend that money, then by all means cash out.

I wish every day that I had bought more and gone fully all in. I'd have well over 100k stinkers, but I played "safe" and diversified into some other interesting projects. I literally never saw ETHLend shilled on biz, and no one ever wanted to talk about it when I brought it up... looked promising so I got like 15k of them, now I have 150 AAVE. This is also holding through some MASSIVE losses on all fronts so part of researching a project is building your internal confidence not to sell.

That being said, the meme was always 1000$ EOY. But pretty much everyone who was serious knew this project was going to take years to mature and was a long hold. It still has a lot of value and I really should put my money where my mouth is and buy more, but lowering my DCA makes me cringe even though I know it's irrational. I've never sold a single link, and personally I wouldn't even begin to consider selling for less than $100 a piece. Even then, I probably wouldn't. Staking is going to be where it's at most likely.

Early thread price predictions? A lot of people think long term $1000 is a low ball figure. So far, no price predictions on LINK have been accurate. But needless to say, I'm VERY happy with the performance so far.

Just because something is shilled or isn't shilled doesn't mean a whole lot.
But the kind of organic excitement around that project.. the relentless FUD... I feel like nothing I've done in crypto has been more obvious
