I keep seeing these threads about people holding on coins forever because $1000 EOY or asking which coin will be the next 20x-100x, and there's nothing wrong with that (maybe) but I think many of you are missing out on comparable profits that don't depend on finding the next Antshares. I'm talking about compounding on much lower profits, which is not a revolutionary concept, but sometimes the promise of 100x gets in the way of rational thinking.

Let me explain, if you always took profit once your position reaches 50%, after doing that 8 times, you would have made 25x from your original investment. Doing 50% 8 times in a row is not an easy task, but it's way more likely than buying early that obscure shitcoin that'll become a top 10 on CMC. Even if you only did 20% 8 times, you'll end up with over 4x, which isn't really that bad.

Think about this before deciding to hold a shitcoin for months or years, or before choosing to become a bagholder because your position went down 10%.
