This is normal. 1 year takes up less of your total life, so you'll experience it differently. When that snot nosed 6 year old kid is in the car constantly asking "are we there yet??? are we there yet??? are we there yet???" every 5 minutes, it isn't JUST to be a dickhead. 5 minutes to him is significantly more than it is to you because of how short he's lived. It's a larger proportion of his total experience with time, so he'll realize 5 minutes as maybe something akin to 50 minutes. Time isn't set in stone, it works a lot differently than our senses perceive, but our senses just understand time in a manner that's better fit for our survival.

So it's not just you, it's really how our senses work.
