Neoliberalism has turn us into a society of slaves. You know that common adage that the lottery ruins more lives than it changes? That's because the winners are subservient working class who were never taught to think past subsistence each paycheck because we live in a society of consumption by the slave class. Ask the average person what they would do if they were rich, nearly all of them will tell you how to squander a fortune. It doesn't matter how smart you are when you've been conditioned to keep your head down.

Think of the average STEM major these days, all of them will wagecuck the rest of their lives. Their lives are no different than the McDonald's worker. Even when they tuck away wealth, they put it in a tax-advantaged account. They're forcing themselves to work until old age. Intelligence doesn't guarantee sucess. The more important thing is wisdom. Wisdom can be had by everyone, first, you need to have awareness. Intelligence just increases the chances of becoming aware what what matter's most.
