To be honest, I never thought I would go to grad school. In undergrad I studied economics and math, with the intention of getting an economics PhD. But my math grades were horrendous, so I gave up on the idea. However, life has a funny way of transpiring: I ended up working at Northwestern University, so I took advantage of getting a degree from there, hence the MPPA route. If I graduate with a robust GPA, maybe I'll pursue a PhD, but I will be 30 years old then. Who knows. Just gotta take it one day at a time.

I'm still in shock, bros. Yeah, the pay was shit and the culture was toxic, but I wasn't given any fucking notice. I have bills to pay, upcoming doctor visits, and a lease renewal in two months. Literally fuck giving your employers a two week notice. The worst part is I'm doing masters through this university, so I lose my employer tuition reimbursement benefit. If they kick me out of my program, I'll sue them.
