Most logic text books are changing it to something like "argument from disputed authority" because there's too many examples where it clearly isn't a fallacy. Witness testimonies, knowing what's written in the bible, knowing that a city exists without being there and trusting a wife over a random person on questions about her husband are all examples that clearly show its a perfectly fine tactic.

This is why the trolls on /r/Bitcoin censor Satoshi quotes rather than call them fallacies - they know that Satoshi probably knows what he is talking about.

BCH is identical to Satoshi's original bitcoin except the blocksize is increased, which is what he wanted to do anyway. The 1MB limit was meant to be temporary.

The fact is BCH more closely resembles bitcoin than the current segwit core coin.
