I started at the end of March. I bought a lot of shit that was still on its way down. I wanted to buy options for all the wrong reasons (I had a wildly bad understanding of the pricing), so I watched the 8-hour options training course on TD.

I tipped my toe into the options pool, buying pussy positions (1 contract, here, 2 contracts there). Now that I am comfortable, I am pissed that I didn't learn what I was doing earlier.

I built up a savings of about $350,000 over the last six years by putting all my money in the credit union, earning about $290/year interest. I doubled that return last year when I out $20,000 into a promotional rate CD.

I've been in the market a couple months now, and I've turned $45,000 into $75,000. I feel like a puss because I still have $13,000 in cash just sitting in my TD account and $300,000 just sitting in the credit union.
