outgoing transaction is generated by binance engine. you can't know the number of users that made withdrawal, because the origin is binance hotwallet. if 10.000 users made 0.1 btc withdrawal to single wallet, it would be visible as 1000 btc going from binance cold wallet to destination wallet.

> dumb binance users gave away their 2fa and api keys by clicking on viruses and phishing sites made by the hackers
> hackers waited until they got enough users with large enough amount on the accounts
> hackers initiated all obtained user withdrawals at once
> binance engine processes withdrawals every N minutes. it processed all BTC withdrawals in the next batch and send it out. 7k btc transaction: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/e8b406091959700dbffcff30a60b190133721e5c39e89bb5fe23c5a554ab05ea
> binance alarms get off, because this amount of btc withdrawal is abnormal
> binance closes withdrawals
> binance infrastructure was never hacked
> the remaining btc on the hotwallet did not move (4k btc); unlike at nicehash theft for $65M, where hackers actually hacked the infrastructure and got to the hotwallet, because the company was incompetent
> dumb users got lucky that hackers initiated all withdrawals at once and binance decided to cover the theft. they were in no way obligated to. it was 100% user fault to get phished or click on a virus
> theoretically, if you had withdrawn btc during the time that hackers have withdrawn it, it would seem like hackers took it and binance would credit your binance account + you would get the withdrawn bitcoins to your personal wallet. sadly they would be flagged like they are from the hackers
> everyone blames binance for being hacked
> time to fill those bnb bags goyims
thank me later

why is BNB burn based on value at the end of Q?

For example Binance burned 829,888 BNB, worth $15.6 MM USD on 4/16/2019. This is $18.8 per BNB. This was the value of BNB on 4/16/2019.

They should be burning BNB tokens from fees that are collected during 1/1/2019 and 4/1/2019. BNB value ranged from 6$ to 18$ in that period. They got 3x more BNB in January from fees, but they don't take that into account for burn. They make the burn with the current BNB value ($18.8).

Am I missing something?

I made this thread 24 hours ago. Comments are amusing. Kicking myself I didn't buy. Oh well, it will go back down--nothing actually changed. It was all in the whitepaper.

Thoughts on trading BNB? Less volatile, and seems to preform about as well as any other shitcoin these days. Obviously won't moon, but could be good for frequent small swings during a bear market.

I have decided to leave my daily routine of red pilling the American public, and my fellow /pol/ locks, behind for now so I can focus on getting shilled by my fellow Crypto Creeps on which Crypto to exchange. Ive already traded all of my terrible American Sheckles in for Crypto (i.e. a much more morally correct currency). Whats the next best move? What pennies will moon? How do we leave behind the fed?

Last night I tried to transfer funds from Coinbase to Binance. I want to use my Binance account so I tried to send some Bitcoin. It was pending on my coinbase and finally said it was completed after an hour. It never appeared in my binance account. In fact when you click on the Binance wallet address and copy it to paste in Coinbase it paste it as a different series of numbers and letters. On Binance it shows one series of letters and numbers and when copies to paste on coinbase it paste as a totally different series of numbers and letter from what I copied. Anyway, the cash never arrived 24 hours later. Is this a common issue? Is this normal? Will it show up later?
