this was ethereum's last bullcycle. its fucking dinosaur tech. it already had a lot of L1's competing and scaling better. now imagine next bullcycle this fucking PoW will not be able to keep up with all the competition that will outperform it. the best things are always built during a bear so expect in 2 years a massive change in the top 20. prepare for triple digits.

So nobody is talking about that more than 60% of miners have rejected that implantation. So that means there is a possible chain split, drop in hash power, loss of security, attack on the network by the miners. Look then don't have a incentive to keep the network safe because they will take their money now, and ETH is going to POS in a year or two. So why would they secure the network? This could be a shitstorm im telling you, and nobody is talking about it !! WHY? are so many newfags in so that they don't know how POW works and that miners are important? I'm not saying that there will be problem but there could be BIG PROBLEMS!!

i sold all my ETH for USDC yesterday after reading a lot of you guys saying it can't scale and has infinite supply but today it went up... is this just the dead cat bounce before it goes down more or something? i'm kinda getting nervous but yeah it does make sense that infinite supply means its worthless.. so do i just wait for it to go to $600 again or what? thanks

I've come to realize that the only thing worth holding is Bitcoin and Ethereum. The rest are unpredictable trash. Ethereum is literally partnered with all the big boys, and will build a decentralized future. All of BIZ wants instant gratifications, while Ethereum will be here in 10 years, working to get better with time.

Will this shitcoin ever pump? I have $500 to invest this month to increase my stack of either ETH or BTC. Which one do I buy?

You guys need to realize something .... fees are part and parcel of decentralization right now. As you all know, ETH achieves consensus through proof of work and that requires, money plain and simple — without fees being paid there’s no incentive to keep the network up and running, or to protect it from attacks. We miners are the lifeblood of Ethereum and until Vitalik releases ETH 2.0, this is how it’s gonna have to be. I don’t like these gas prices any more than you guys, but in the grand scheme of things it’s a small price to pay for decentralization. Whether it’s due to their own ignorance or greed, I see all of these people writing off Ethereum, when we encompass everything crypto was supposed to be and more. We’re already the best option out there and pretty soon these petty problems will be fixed.

That's not a small market cap compared to the alt coins. When The market dumps, ETH and BTC usually only dump around 5-10% and that's even after only pumping 15-20% previously. Now I can understand your frustration with ETH (Everyone is frustrated with ETH, especially ETH HODLers) but it sounds like you used the same Strategy for leveraging BTC to leverage ETH/Alt coins and thats not a good strat. Even though ETH and BTC are tied to the hip, ETH is still a bit more volatile. If you bought ETH for $100 last March, you would be up 20x by now. Sure ETH has underperformed recently but even Ethereum will catch up soon. They always catch up after being suppressed for a while. The move will be more explosive some think. This is just a testament on how important it is to just HODL. What you should have done was only taken a small percentage of your BTC gains to buy into ETH, say maybe 10-15%. Then if we dipped, you could have taken out another 10-15%. Point is, never trade with more then 10-15% of your portfolio at a time .

But I think we all are feeling the ETHEREUm frustration atm. We all expected ETH to be at least $2500-$3000 by now. I think the fact that everyone was so bullish on ETH and so determined it would go up that now was a good time to short and manipulate to catch everyone with their pants down
