Redpill me on the self taught path to a FAGMAN salary. I have an engineering degree but the pay ceiling is pathetic and the jobs are miserable and very rigid (be there even if there’s nothing to do, fix shitty boomer CAD work, never remote work)
I have savings and I’m considering/planning to study full time and build a portfolio. I figure with a BSME & a nice GitHub I would have a decent shot at some entry level stuff. Even a junior dev at FAGMAN would be a huge raise compared to my shitty salary right now. I wear a fucking mask 8hrs a day and it’s giving me acne

I studied engineering and got a math minor (it was just an extra class). I hate my career and would like to use my crypto curiosity to fuel some coding/systems/finance studying and maybe escape engineering forever.

How can I learn the technical side of crypto, so that I can actually comprehend white papers and spot crypto red flags?
I see intelligent discussions on here about Chainlink or ETH and it’s fascinating, I want to learn but not sure where to start. Should I get a book on Solidity or something? I’d like to make my own shitcoin as a project maybe. Or is there a good course/YouTube series?
I understand the basics of blockchain and stuff but that’s about it. I have novice programming experience but a pretty good math background
