I was reading about Palladium the other day. Not even a currency, 100% industrial metal, an essential one. Mined mostly in Russia and it has a spectacular Bull Run.
Why? Because mining in Africa was lower in 2018 than it was in 2017. Apparently still low in 2019. Africa wasn't even the main supplier and the prices are getting ridiculous.
Soon they'll have to dump and replace Palladium with Platinum (you neex 3x the Platinum in a car to function as a Palladium replacement).

This brings me to silver, if electric cars are the future -and it looks like they are based on the oil market- this means the silver bull run that can happen when we start mining less instead of more will be of BitCoin proportions. Unlike Palladium, Silver cannot be replaced by a cheaper metal in a cost-effective way.
