>Does anyone else get genuinely upset to see people collect trash like plastic toys and trading cards?
Not really, it's more funny to see people fucking themselves over buying useless tat than it is depressing. I've indulged in buying plastic too, but I've not spent any real money on it.
What makes me sad though is when I see women using consumerism as a substitute for having kids, using their obsession over whatever to distract them from their subconscious desires to raise children.
As for Pokemon shit, I find that more annoying than most other forms of consumerism for whatever reason (probably due to having Pokemon constantly shoved down my throat by the TV/toy stores/whatever else when I was too young to understand what it was).

/pmg/ died back in early 2022. There's been no new meaningful discussion since then; it's just devolved into a bunch of redditors fighting with each other trying to bake new threads as early as possible now.
>I CAN'T BELIEVE ALL THIS COST JUST 20 OUNCES OF SILVER
You shouldn't be spending that much on figurines anon, it's not healthy.

>CC Privy mark instead of a proper mint mark
They should've done a small run of Morgan Dollars at the Carson City Mint. They wouldn't have any issues with using it since the building is the Nevada State Historical Museum now and they still have a minting press there (which is used to make souvenir medallions occasionally). I guess they were just too lazy to get the materials and manpower out there and just wanted a cheap cashgrab, which is pretty typical of the US Mint nowadays.
