I'm thinking about cashing out like 1/3rd, things are feeling pretty ridiculous right now, but I don't know how long it'll go on

To be honest I did 0 shopping around before I got mine, just got one from the bank I already use so it's easy to pay it off from my main account.
You can shop around though and go with different banks/providers if the credit limit you're offered isn't enough - but the interest on these WILL be fucking awful so never actually use the "credit" part of the credit card. Always pay in full.
Your credit score also isn't a real thing, it's a consumer-end number they give you to reflect how your application for credit in the future (mortgage etc.) will look in the eyes of the Bank. I wouldn't worry, you seem to be treating this like some urgent thing. Building your score takes time, use it for purchases big and small alike CONSISTENTLY. The only important thing is paying it off every single month without fail.
Also we know it's you when you post this board had IDs you idiot.

I just began properly investing this November, due to having lots of debts to pay off previously

I have made £160 this week by investing £2.3K on Monday, that's not bad right?
