I wake up at about 8am. I do my best to make sure things are picked up and orderly, and I might try to do one quick chore like cleaning the bathroom or kitchen or just sweeping up a bit. I go to work for 12-13 hours in a restaurant. I get home and I might smoke a cigar with my brother and I drink some whiskey. I go to bed.

I used to beat myself up trying to get a better morning routine going, and reading at night and stuff, but it never stuck. The whiskey is sticking and I should probably give it a rest. I really want a better routine, but sometimes it takes everything in me just to maintain and keep up appearances and not let the yardwork fall behind. So I'm interested to hear what some of you do every day, especially if you work crazy hours, I wonder how many of us still find time to do scholarly things, exercise, maybe even some crafty shit like woodworking
