the "official" math of the supposed curvature doesn't even add up
if it was 8"/mi squared then why can you consistently see things further than 8 miles away? why does the horizon rise to eye level and remain flat, no matter what altitude you're at? why does the ocean not curve? why can you see ships that have "disappeared over the horizon" with a simple telescope?
