Except that the petrodollar is dead now, we're not even keeping carriers on station in the gulf more than half the year, and as soon as the Russians and Saudis get done cutting their noses off to spite their faces with their oil dumping, fracking comes back online and we go back to being an exporter. We're moving away from being world police and global shipping guarantors, being non-integrated into the global economy is probably one of the USA's biggest strengths moving into a global currency collapse, right behind its ridiculous food output.
