These are all Americans from out most expensive city in the country.

The revenue (salary) matches their expense.

For greater than 80K:

Fed Income Tax: 24%
NY State Income Tax: 6.333%
NYC City: 3.876%

Haven't even paid a bill yet just the government.

Groceries in the city are 150-250% of everywhere else.

1 BR rent in my neighborhood (East Williamsburg is 3-4K for a 500 SF railroad apt with no luxuries and no amenities)

Still think they are rich? Can just convert the salary to Pesos.

I guarantee you are living a better life/lifestyle in a place like Chile with a tenth of the salary. Gotta figure out how to arbitrage or MAKE MORE.
