Guys; I remember back in the day when I was predicting doom and gloom for the AU and NZ countries in the housing market and I wanted to offer a followup on this.
I'm going to try and wrap up my predictions; accuracy depending on our fellow anons to check my work. My motto has always been "/SMG/ I want you to succeed".

the way I believe it's been going is as follows;
>1. Chinese foreign investors either travel abroad and pay for houses in cash or in person take a mortgage loan;
>2. leads to rising housing prices in the country, then higher tax rates and higher mortgage; this leads to default or sale attempt
(more likely default, since the buyers likely won't want to go through the hardship of selling abroad)
