This is the Jeff Snider take
>Primary Dealer creates the cash to buy the bond
>Ledger balance created in the gov account at the PD Bank
>PDs follow warehouse accounting rules

Perhaps a deep dive into warehouse accounting is in order.

Jesus. The pills keep coming.
>Bail ins
So every depositor now holds the risks that the banks take? Who in their right mind would keep any cash in a bank account...
>infinite reserve of taxpayer
So this technically should just add to their confidence for lending or making risky investments. Why has lending growth slowed down though?

I think the banks are manipulating for more QE and counting on it given how hard it is to get the government to move. You mention the Gov side-stepping and blowing that plan up, which I think is more the likely scenario.

In any case, the Gov still holds the cards when it comes to hyperinflation. Nothing stops them from locking down over another COVID hoax, or putting tariffs on chink imports, or raising income taxes, all 3 also likely scenarios.
