Where can I buy some satosh with fiat in the US. My Coinbase is maxxed out and its been 4 days and these niggers still havent verified my ID, how fucking long will it take?

I'm just getting started. Bought at Coinbase and watched BTC tank while my money was held hostage waiting on bank xfer. Tried Gemini a couple of days ago and the fees are hugely lower while the xfer time is 2x/fast. Why are people using Coinbase and not Gemini? What am I missing?

Gemini had a server error and sent extra ETH from my account and is now holding me liable for them.

So I requested a withdrawal of ETH from Gemini some weeks ago and got an error screen while the transaction was processing (503 error I believe). I then went back to my profile screen and saw that my ETH balance had not changed.

I wondered for a moment should I submit again, but decided whatever and did. This time the transaction went through and my ETH balance showed this.

I was sending the funds to my friends wallet and he told me he received twice the amount that I was sending him. We freaked out and were like what the fuck happened and assumed it was an issue on Gemini’s side.

The next day I logged into Gemini’s website and my account was debited the ETH that was accidentally sent. Gemini did not contact me as to why. I messaged them about it and they explained there was a ledger error and thus my account has been debited. They said if I wanted to continue using their services that I would need to deposit the ETH back. I told them I would request my friend return them asap.

I heard nothing back from Gemini. We delayed returning the ETH and it has been a few weeks. Gemini now has contacted me and told me to return the ETH in 72 hours or they will take legal action.

Of course I will return it. I assume it’s not worth the hassle fighting them on this and I’m really lucky that it was sent to a wallet owned by my friend. It honestly does freak me out though, what if I had sent those funds for a transaction to someone who refused to return them to me. That seems incredibly fucked up to me that I would be held liable for Gemini’s server error. It seems to me like I asked the bank to wire $100 and they accidentally wired $200 to someone and are holding me responsible when I didn’t even see that $100. Isn’t the error between them and the receiver and has nothing to do with me as the sender?

They only offer ETH and BTC right now, but Gemini is an actually established financial trading firm in real-world assets as well as crypto, so I feel much safer and like my money is actually accessible.

I dont wana buy on cuckbase to get raped by a fee, and even then supposedly if i transfer itr to bittrex they will lock my account. Am i FUDed, or should i test my luck on coinbase?
