Celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser has taken on some of the highest-profile cases, working with stars such as Britney Spears and the Kardashians.

She says most couples forget that divorce is essentially a business transaction. When people lose that perspective, their divorce typically takes longer and they end up with less money.

“All of the grief and all of the pain and all of the fear that people experience during a breakup are all very real but they should not be applied to the financial transaction of dividing things up,” she tells host Veronica Dagher in this Secrets of Wealthy Women podcast
