Inflation was 6.8% last year at this time. That means the cost of everything is up on average 15% (LOL) compared to 2 years ago. Things have inflated more both in real times and percentage terms, month to month comparisons on inflation are LITERALLY RETARDED when the metric will obviously "cool" as prices hit their fucking peak.
