>>100% maximum comfy rainy overcast day in southern California
i live northwest arizona right on the tristate border of nevada, arizona, and california and its been super temperate and rainy here pretty much all year, absolutely beautiful compared to the usual scorching hellscape. if this is really due to climate change and its going to become the norm then i think its time to invest in more land here. its dirt cheap right now cuz its a desert shit hole but its gonna be valuable if this weather continues

Believe it or not, no. I've argued about this before, but I'm more worried about other physical sellers like Amazon. It's not a fair comparison to compare Gamestop to blockbuster because there is still a market for physical and used copies of games. The only reason we saw PC kill off the physical market was for things like really good steam sales. Valve doesn't have a horse in the direct publishing game, so they were able to let prices fall. We aren't gonna see sales like the steam sales of old on consoles ever. That's where gamestop could really find the niche they need to survive. Lower prices, better used trading rewards, and working to get prices of used copies down to a competitive price. They are also in desperate need of a rebranding. More focus towards their online platform for one. Probably close some stores, etc. I'm not necessarily optimistic, but they aren't doing bad because of online digital distribution. They are doing bad because they made bad business decisions and refused to compete against Amazon and target and other platforms.
