amazon's chart looks very much like "buy the rumor, sell the news"

investors are betting everybody else figures amazon has made bank during corona, which is probably true, so they buy in before the earnings report. they expect that many late to the party will buy in after the earnings. which will probably happen.

then a short while after, monday probably, the stock will rush down to maybe 2100. could be even lower if long time holders want to finally cash out with profit

By the way, Alibaba report coming on the 13th, might be a buying opportunity for quick gains. I don't have Alibaba myself but I figure they might have had a lot of business lately due to corona.
