In 2009, a friend told me about bitcoin. He wanted to mine coins cause he thought the price would go up and he'd get some for free. I decided I'd just buy $1000 worth and sit on it so I didn't have to devote my desktop to mining. Well after a few days of trying to figure out how to buy some, I gave up cause I was getting behind on engineering homework.
Then I forgot about bitcoin until 2013 when it seemed too expensive to buy.

tldr: I did homework instead of buying bitcoin. fml
