when you tell the 1% with 50% of your nations wealth that you are going to take some and promise better things for the 99% with it, the 1% can just immigrate to another country that wont fuck them over
then the remaining 99% (new nations 100%) have %50 of the wealth they used to have, mobs get mad at unfulfilled promises, and you get cascading revolts that cost even more

it has happened every single time in history, and i have no idea how modern day commies cant see it and realize their ideals will never work
