Any yuropoors itt who use Interactive Brokers? I'm just signing up for that because I'm getting tired of getting fucked in the ass by high commissions. I tried to choose "Warrants" but was not presented with any Canadian or U.S. warrant choices. Is it even possible for us yuros to invest in miner warrants? I was really looking forward to that too...

>If we had simply allowed the past recessions to take their course
That's what I meant by downturn. What's the difference?
>we would have restructured on solid ground and have had actual economic growth by now
I agree but also disagree a little. Economic growth is boosted in the current debt-based system, at the cost of currency devaluation and wealth consolidation. It's all a vehicle for consumerism. If we had free markets, asset prices would stay relatively still for the most part and economic growth would be slow. But economic growth by itself isn't necessarily good. We don't need most of the things we produce, and the system has to produce things that break after a few years to keep spending flowing.

This is just one of the horrible results of our current monetary system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9xmn228HM0&ab_channel=RockerCat

Finland has brutal taxes. Will have to increase my tax level too because I've been working overtime so much. Even though I now make over 3k€ gross per month, about a fourth of it goes straight to the state and that still leaves living expenses like insurance, gas, food, mortgage (+payments to my condominium) and the bills. And I still want to invest only a fourth or fifth of my net profits -- about 300-350€ every two weeks-- and I can only barely keep my bank account balance in a positive state each month. It's a question of principles to keep the balance green so that I won't start spending/investing unsustainably
