Not that heavy of a loss lol. As I said you can quite often mine other metals and just get silver with them, so you kinda DCA that way. Im also talking sustaining costs, ie, just enough to keep the machines running and wages covered. If you're accounting for profit, which a large mining company does need longterm, and factor in inflation/depreciation, it is a "loss", but you can still keep the wheels turning.

If silver was being mined at a -2.0ROI at $25/oz, we wouldn't see anymore silver being produced.
