Most of /pol/ and such hates the EU and they have some weird and shitty laws. Some of these politicians live in an ivory tower.

BUT: The EU made business so much easier. I live 20 meters from the border basically. I cross over and dont even notice. I can study anywhere, I can work anywhere. I can set up a bank account in Estonia and spend my life living in Greece. Tomorrow. While being treated as a citizen by/of both of these countries. (Or as soon as flights start going back up)

It was just a dumb move. The British blamed all the shitty laws on the EU and blamed the EU if they had problems at home. Then the people believed these things and actually wanted to leave the EU.
