My story is similar. In mid 2017 I was depressed, aimless, filling the void with drugs and alcohol, and on the verge of suicide. One morning, while still half asleep and hungover, a voice in my head said "don't give up yet; you still have to get rich with crypto." At that point I started to take better care of myself and focused all of my energy on that goal.
I eventually found my way onto /biz/ and witnessed the very last AssBlaster post - then spent 2018 accumulating a stack that initially seemed far out of reach.
