I dont understand why this equal pay shit is still around

I have been in the workforce for 10 years and I am yet to be in a workplace where a man and a woman of the same position do not receive equal pay.

The only things I can think of that theyre coming from are maternity leave, they take a pay hit to take extended leave from work there.

The other is the average male wage is higher because men do more high risk jobs that pay better and more are CEOs

If this is really the issue, then giving all woman a pay rise isnt going to solve the problem. They should work towards encouraging females to enter the high risk industries that pay better.

What the fuck is going on?
