For me, I realized shorts were fucked when the entire world stopped caring about covid and started rolling back restrictions and masks and shots. Sure the majority of people complied but the 30-40% that didn't got loud and threw a wall eyed fit and everyone decided to go make money and risk the worst flu in a hundred years to keep the bills paid. Taking GME to nothing would require roughly the same level of mass delusion as covid restrictions still being in place would.

Everything after has just been so much masturbation by both sides, but that was the death knell and golden bull signal for humanity.
