Oh look, it's another "neet debunks 10 years of work in 30 minutes" episode.

>in a huge network on holo, you just need two parties to agree to be malicious to commit a double spend.

except that's not how it works, fuckface. You colluding with some other guy to commit a double spend will just fork you and that other guy from the network.

ETH/Ziliqa and all the other shitcoins have no reason to exist once Holo is up. Global consensus is what fucks them over and they will never be as efficient as Holo, no matter how many scaling solutions you throw at them.
That's why people are losing their shit over Holo, because they found a way to get rid of global consensus while also avoiding double spends, sybil attacks and a fuckton of other stuff. You literally can't get more efficient than Holochain without going centralized.
Hashgraph shits on blockchain.
Holochain shits on Hashgraph.
That's the pecking order.

It has been FUDed to death in the past few weeks. I was expecting something bad to happen, but the price barely dipped. I'm pretty sure it will go on a bullrun soon and the FUD threads were supposed to shake us out.

The real blackpill for noholos is this:
There is LITERALLY not a single piece of FUD about Holo that is not either a misconception or a straight up lie. I've proven this in other threads by BTFO retards like >>10298857
I think I made him my bitch in another thread cause I recognize the style of writing and "19 posts by this ID even though I don't care about this project". I'm 99.9% sure it's him.

The sad part is that all these retards that tried to FUD now just to make other retards miss the gains will become silent in less than 6 months when it goes to 1+ billion marketcap. You won't see any of these pieces of shit ever admitting they were wrong.

I don't have 2 cents. That guy was full of shit and purposefully ignoring all the things that make EOS a shitshow and a glorified AWS server (only much worse and expensive). I just pointed those things out so we can disregard EOS from this conversation cause it doesn't belong in crypto.

Back to the topic at hand. As this guy said >>10150980 Holo could probably become the Amazon of crypto if it scales properly. Even if it doesn't scale to the point where it can compete with Amazon on prices, the fact that it's decentralized should justify the premium on the price for certain developers. If it does scale, we're looking at one of the most important inventions of the 21st century. It will literally change everything. atm we're far from reaching a conclusion, hence why we're speculating on shitcoins.

this is a bear market. Shilling this to you when the board is a wasteland won't move the price even 0.1% so no one has any motivation to do that (maybe with the exception of that other anon that for some weird reason wants to help dipshits on biz).

Also, if you think anyone can explain Holochain and Holo to you in a 2000 characters post, you're retarded. It took me like 6 hours to understand the basics and then another few days (dozens of hours) to get into the real shit.

Can I ask you something? Who are you trying to convince to sell this? People that bought this last year and have been accumulating, they know what they bought. I'm assuming you think there are newfags who bought this and you're hoping to shake them out.
Protip: there aren't any people you can shake out.
Normies didn't buy OMG because the hype and shilling phase was in july-august last year. They only came to market in december and sure as shit didn't buy OMG cause by then it was pretty low profile.

TL/DR: you're wasting your time.

you might be right.
2017 had a bullrun from 18 billion to 800 billion and now we're hovering at 350 billion which is still amazing compared to 18 billiion. Another bullrun likes this would put us in the trillion dollars range easily, but I don't see it coming anytime soon. Many people got JUSTed in january and february. Some fucked off and will never return. Others are still holding bags waiting to break even and fuck off. The sentiment is not good. It could be 2 years, but my 5 years estimate should give everyone enough time to forgive and forget while also a new generation will emerge. Kids that are 18-20 years old now and are somewhat aware of blockchain, will become 25yo wageslaves that will be willing to invest and kickstart a serious bullrun.

Don't assume that my style of "investing" is a good fit for crypto. I have some experience in the startup scene and I judge these projects like a VC would judge a startup. It worked ok, but not great for me. There's countless other guys here that made shitloads of more money by investing based on hype or FOTM shitcoins and getting out at the right time.

That being said, I hold some OMG cause if they pull it off, we're gonna see some real shit. With OMG I don't have to worry about adoption cause they are already a pretty big payment processor that is constantly growing. It's just a matter of execution.
I hold some ARK because I 100% agree with their philosophy and their way of doing things. For blockchain to be adopted it needs to be easy and versatile at the same time. Call me deluded, but I think ARK's team is approaching things in the right way even though it wasn't in the investors interest at times. Long term, what they are doing is solid. I can wait.
I put like 8% of my portfolio in Holo at ICO but now technically my portfolio is around 50% Holo.
Also holding some Obsidian bags from ICO cause I was stupid enough to believe that they could pull it off. Could have been big if they weren't retarded manchildren. They could have covered a very good niche in the crypto market if they delivered. Still hoping they unfuck themselves with Odin but I'm not getting my hopes up.

That's about it.

If you mean on a technical day-to-day level, I juggle with 3 companies at the same time.
One is the main company which makes most of the money, but the scaling potential is very limited so I feel like a wagecuck.
Second one is in some ways still a startup but in other ways it's not. This one gives decent returns at times but there's way more room to scale until it peaks. Still haven't found a way to scale that doesn't involve shittons of money.
Third one is actually a startup that's been in the workings for like 3 years now. This one actually has huge potential but it's untested yet. We're gonna launch in the next weeks after we finish polishing it. This one can actually scale without a huge investment, so there is hope.
There's also crypto which I like cause it's so much easier to make money than real work.

If you mean on a philosophical level, for me it's been a layered process.
layer 1: gather the skills so I can work for myself and not wagecuck for some jew
layer 2: make one or more sustainable businesses that could eventually work without my intervention
layer 3: generate enough passive income to not starve in case it all turns to shit
layer 4: get really rich and maybe spend some money on dumb shit just so I won't regret it later
layer 5: get stupid rich and fund research in areas that interest me but I was never smart enough to pursue them academically or contribute to them in a meaningful way

Right now I'm fucking around layer 2 and 3 in parallel, so there's still work to do.

Don't know if you're new here or not, but the way you react makes me think you haven't been through this situation before so here's a TLDR: when on /biz/ always ask yourself what is OP's intention. Keep in mind that this is time consuming. This faggot has 25 posts with pics and everything and he's been posting for 5 hours. Is this just a nice man that is doing some good in the world? Does this cesspool of a board usually have helpful threads or it's just FUD and shill 99.9% of the time? Is this that 0.1% where it's just an honest man trying to do god's work?
Always do the opposite of what /biz/ says is not a meme.

I repeat: Always ask yourself what's the intention behind a post and look at the effort and the time they consume when they could be doing something else.

I get your point and I'm all for riding the hype train to make money. Even though I find it kinda risky, I've watched way too many shitcoins skyrocketing due to hype and I could have made a shit ton of money if logic wasn't in the way. The problem is that I see people in this thread unironically talking about EOY values and "millions" as if this scam will still be relevant in 1 year.

That's the reason I posted. Wasn't sure if this was some /biz/ inside joke pump and dump kind of thing or if people were for real. I think it's fair to assume that like 10% of people in this thread know what's going on and are in it for a quick buck, while using the rest as cattle to pump this shit higher. Nothing out of the usual here. Just another day on /biz/. Carry on people with your talk about EOY price estimates.
