Pretty smart post so I'll give you some time. 5 minute blocks are fine, if blocks are too fast then you can potentially start to compromise security. Radiant has big blocks which can scale massively. Also, Radiant has 0-conf transactions which are basically instantaneous, vid rel. Other similar coins do not have this.
It doesnt have a team, rather a community of different devs working on it. The founder Atoshi went incognito after appearing audibly in this one video explaining Radiant (although its rumoured he is still working on the background). Radiant community raised funding for a BKEX listing, but only a couple weeks after listing BKEX got shit down by authorities so the community is very reluctant to raise funds for another dodgy exchange. CoinEx listed Radiant for free so thats probably what other exchanges will have to do if they want to list. Tangem hardware wallet is adding Radiant in the very near future. You are right, it is a great project with huge potential currently very underpriced.
